MECHANISM OF ACTION OF CAHA

LeVair CaHA is a premium, solid-core (non-porous) particle designed to provide higher stability and smoother performance than the micro-porous CaHA used by many other brands.
It's solid-core structure helps reduce inflammation risk thanks to a smooth, uniform surface, enables more predictable injection with minimal friction, supports better tissue integration for natural contouring, and delivers stronger immediate lift with a gradual, controlled, and sustained collagen response over time.

MECHANISM OF ACTION OF CAHA

Phase 1 (Immediate)

The gel carrier with CaHA microspheres is placed in tissue and behaves like a regular volumizing filler at first. Macrophages gather around the implant.

Phase 2 (2-6 weeks)

Macrophages trigger an inflammatory signaling cascade that stimulates fibroblast proliferation → neocollagenesis (new collagen formation). The gel carrier starts being resorbed.

Phase 3 (6-18+ months)

The CaHA microspheres gradually break down; macrophages phagocytose/metabolize them. The CaHA ultimately dissolves into calcium and phosphate ions.

DUAL WEIGHT HA MATTERS

Not all HA behaves the same. Using two molecular sizes can deliver a more complete hydration strategy.

COMBINATION OF GLYCEROL AND HA

Glycerol is a well-known, skin-friendly humectant that draws water into the skin and supports long-term hydration.

Glycerol and hyaluronic acid (HA) work together as a layered, long-lasting hydration system. 

HA binds and stores water to create an immediate plumping effect, while Glycerol acts as a humectant that continuously attracts moisture and helps keep that water available within the gel and the skin’s outer layers. 

When combined, glycerol helps slow dehydration and supports a more stable hydration balance, while HA provides both surface and deeper hydration - forming a soft hydrating film that supports the barrier and delivering water into the dermis to improve texture and elasticity. 

This synergy helps the treated area stay smoother, fuller, and more comfortable, with hydration that looks immediate and remains more sustained over time.
